A recurring theme in our lives over the past year - change...

Seeing our one-year-old daughter Margo take in the big world around her and learn new skills every day has brought us so much joy and given us a fresh perspective. She's already hosting tastings and raising her sippy cup for a proper 'cheers'!

2021 was our first vintage with her in tow - walking vineyards, stomping grapes, and tasting ferments. It was not a vintage without its challenges, but staying optimistic gave us the opportunity to get creative.

We are thrilled to share two new releases with you:

Our 2021 'Chasing the Sunset' rosé is the 3rd vintage sourced from the beautiful Veerkamp vineyard in El Dorado County (and our favorite to date). The site is located at 1,750' elevation and has amazing volcanic soils. A blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Grenache, aged in 100% stainless steel - we love its freshness and minerality.

After playing around with the idea of making a carbonic wine for some time, our 2021 'Sunshower' carbonic red captures the radiance of the vintage. We harvested our grapes on the earlier side, used carbonic maceration for 7 days (in tank), before going straight to the press. This wine is meant to be served slightly chilled and is extremely crushable.
