Dear Friend,

It brings us so much joy to finally be able to share our first release with you!

When we set out on the journey of starting Belong Wine Co., we knew we wanted to stay true to our core beliefs and values. This wine is the culmination of numerous daydreams and late night conversations and we feel that it is a great use of our one wild and precious life.

We started mapping out the details of this project in 2016. We knew we wanted to produce a Mourvèdre and our search for the ideal region took us on a fun ride around Northern California. When we stumbled across El Dorado County we knew that we had found gold.

The mountains are our happy place, and we were drawn in by the sheer beauty of the wild terrain. Vineyards, pine forests, volcanic and granitic soils, and an abundance of sunshine all come together to create rugged balance. Our 2017 Mourvèdre is a pure and authentic expression of this.
